Lethal Reunion by Lacey Baker

I really enjoyed this quick and easy read.  This was the first novel I’ve read by Lacey Baker.  She delivered the suspense and character development.  I will definitely read more books by her.  I highly recommend this novella.

I received this from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.

Guilty Until Innocent by Robert Whitlow

I always enjoy a good Robert Whitlow book.  He reminds me a lot of a clean John Grisham!  His books aren’t full of action and suspense but are more of a legal thriller.  This one was very good and it kept my attention to figure out how it was going to end. I highly recommend this book and all of Robert Whitlow’s books.

Ambush by Colleen Coble

This book was another great non-stop action and suspense from author Colleen Coble.  I’ve always loved Colleen Coble’s books and this one was no exception.  I liked how this one had a couple of different mysteries in it.  Paradise and Blake have such a great chemistry and history together.  This one also had a twist that I never saw coming.  I highly recommend this book.

Deadly Revenge by Patricia Bradley

I really enjoyed this book.  The suspense/mystery kept me guessing until the end.  I love the chemistry between Jenna and Max.  Patricia Bradley is one of my favorite inspirational romantic suspense authors.  I have never read one of her books that I haven’t loved.  I highly recommend this book and all of her books.

Deadly Christmas Inheritance by Jessica Patch

This book caught my attention from the first page and continued throughout the whole book! It was full of twists and turns and had a huge twist at the end that I never saw coming! It was great to revisit some characters that I read about in some other books, but this book can be a standalone. I highly recommend this book. Jessica Patch is one of my favorite authors. You won't be disappointed in any of her books!

I received this book for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

JUSTIFIED TO LEAVE

As Christians, when our spouse cheats on us, what is the first thing we think?  Is it, “Well, I’m morally justified to leave him/her?”  Maybe we are morally justified, but is that how God wants us to react?

I believe God is looking down on us, and when He sees a repentant person, He wants the other spouse to offer love and forgiveness.  Isn’t that what being a Christian is all about?  How many times has God offered me forgiveness?  We are going to be hurt in this world, and we are going to hurt others.  Forgiveness is such a necessary part of life.

I believe when God sees two broken people (that’s what we ALL are) in a marriage, and He sees they are truly wanting a broken marriage to work, He has a huge smile on His face.  And to us, as His children, we should be so proud to make our daddy happy and please Him!  As a firstborn child, I was very much a people pleaser, especially to my parents.  I remember all the times I made my earthly daddy proud.  It uplifted me and put a smile on my face all day!  It made me feel so good!

I also believe God rewards the couples who do this.  It may not be great monetary rewards, but in the reward of a renewed marriage.  My marriage is proof of his.  I am more in love with my husband today than I was the day we got married!  We have a tenderness for each other now.  We are transparent with each other.  We see each other’s flaws, yet love each other in spite of these.  We don’t have lots of money or things, but we have each other.  We plan on growing old together.  We are doing life together.  I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else.

God believes in marriages, and He is in the restoring business!  I have witnessed this firsthand.  He loves His children.  Christian couples, make your marriage work.  Stick it out!  You will be so glad you did in the long run!
